Every few weeks someone posts about getting tricked on Facebook. A fake giveaway. A hacked account asking for money. A page pretending to sell something that never arrives. Then the same question pops up. Why does Facebook always seem to get away with it?<\/p>\n
Millions of posts appear constantly. Messages fly back and forth. New groups appear before most people have even finished breakfast. Watching every single piece of content before it reaches people simply isn’t realistic.<\/p>\n
\u00a0A company that earns billions should keep investing until obvious scams disappear much faster than they do.<\/p>\n
The people running scams aren’t guessing anymore. They study what gets removed. Then they change a word. They swap an image. Sometimes they create another account before the first one is even banned.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Plenty of users report suspicious pages. Sometimes Facebook removes them. Other times you get a message saying the content didn’t break its rules, even though it clearly looked fake.\u00a0<\/p>\n

People sometimes talk as if Facebook invented online scams. It didn’t. The same scams appear through email. They show up in text messages. They even reach people through other social platforms. Facebook just happens to be one of the biggest stages, so every mistake becomes highly visible.<\/p>\n
